
About Moira Leeper

Moira Leeper is a multi-produced WGA writer in both screen and television and former Asst. Director of the USC Division of Writing for Screen and Television. Having spent six seasons in writers’ rooms for network and streaming television, she has worked for eight showrunners and developed pilots and features with producers around the world.
As a formal instructor, she has taught story, structure, feature, television and television producing both privately and with DePaul University’s School of Cinematic Arts.
Starting her career as a medical researcher for Grey’s Anatomy, her television credits include Private Practice, Teen Wolf and DC Superhero Girls. Her original film, A Light Beneath Their Feet (available on Amazon Prime and other outlets) gathered multiple awards and accolades at film festivals across the country and received a four-star review from RogerEbert.com:
