The Script Whisperer

I've had the pleasure and privilege of guiding artists through the creative process from inception to finished work across every level of success. Storytellers in the literary, film, and television industries – from acclaimed showrunners and New York Times best-selling novelists to first-time screenwriters and memoirists – have taken the StoryPath journey with me to extraordinary places. Writers, directors, playwrights, web content creators, feature writers, producers, and development executives of all used StoryPath to achieve creative breakthroughs, financial success, and awards and accolades around the world.
I've worked with NBC, ABC, MTV, Warner Brothers and Dreamworks as well as producers and directors around the world. I started my career crafting medical storylines for the Grey’s Anatomy writers' room and my television credits include Private Practice, Teen Wolf and DC Superhero Girls and developing pilots Maddox, Tarzana, and Re-Entry. I've optioned and sold features with Oscar-winning producers.
My original film, A Light Beneath Their Feet (available on Amazon Prime and other outlets) gathered multiple awards and accolades at film festivals across the country and received a four-star review from RogerEbert.com:
“McMahon finds just the right note for each new scene, never overwriting moments that could’ve easily dribbled off into expositional overkill… ‘A Light Beneath Their Feet’ is a triumph of empathetic filmmaking.”
